Step One: Thank You, God / Gratitude and Acceptance

Make Room for a Vibrant New Year

What are you thankful for regarding 2008, and how did this year bring new and joyful experiences into your life? By letting go of the past, we make room for a vibrant new year.

How Has This Year Been Important to You?

December 3, 2009
We are now moving toward the energy and vibration of the year "2010." It is important to go through a process called "Seven Steps for Moving into the New Year 2010."

Action to take: Journaling is a very important part of the releasing process.

Step One -- Let's begin by answering these questions:
  1. What are you thankful for regarding this year?
  2. What did the year give you?
  3. How has this year been important in your life?

By taking this action you are letting go of the old and making room for new possibilities to come into your life.

Step Two: Good Times

Remembering & Releasing the Good Times

December 10, 2009
During the month of December we are preparing our consciousness for 2010. Last week we took the first step, gratitude. Now it is time to embrace the "Good Times" we had in 2009. This week we will be journaling about those delightful times we experienced during the year.

By processing and releasing the "Good Times," we will be open to even greater good times in the future.

Action to take: Journaling question for Step Two:
  1. How did this year bring new and joyful experiences to your life?
  2. Write down specific times that were especially happy. To jog your memory, look through photo albums, listen to special music, etc.

Step Three: Hopes and Dreams / Unfulfilled Hopes and Missed Opportunities

Releasing this Year's Hopes & Dreams
December 12, 2008
Ponder on this: What were your hopes and dreams for this year? How did you hope the year would end? What remains unfulfilled?

Releasing Hopes and Dreams

December 14, 2009
This week we are focusing on the Third Step, Hopes and Dreams, we had for 2009. Now the year is closing and our hopes and dreams are important to review because it gives us an opportunity to acknowledge them and release them to be fulfilled in the future.

Action to take: Journaling questions for Step Three:
  1. What were your hopes and dreams for this year?
  2. How did you hope the year would end?
  3. What remains unfulfilled?

Step Five: Forgiveness

Steps Six and Seven: Review and Release, and Completion

Releasing Disappointments and Difficulties

December 20, 2009
This is the week we take Step Four, Disappointments and Difficulties. The next two steps are of major importance and the most difficult. By journaling and working the process you will find yourself at the end with a whole new consciousness.

Action to take: Journaling questions for Step Four -- Disappointments and Difficulties:
  1. What do you feel most disappointed about regarding this year?
  2. What is the most difficult thing you had to do this year?
  3. What decisions, attitudes, beliefs do you have about this year?
  4. How are these decisions effecting your life?

Learning from the Tough Times

December 8, 2010
Each year brings about some difficulties and disappointments. In order to flush out those old thoughts it is necessary to observe and journal these disappointments and learn what your Soul is trying to tell you. I learned the most about myself through my difficulties, and so will you.
Action to take:
  • Observe
  • Journal
  • Release and clear the way for a whole new year filled with new possibilities.

Release & Completion of 2009

December 31, 2009
We are now ready to take the final two steps which are Release and Completion.

The Sixth Step, Release, gives you time to review your progress. You are preparing to fully release your memories, both positive and negative, as well as your dashed hopes, broken expectations and disappointments.

Action to take: To help you release, write a letter to God releasing the year. Say a prayer releasing all persons, events and situations.

Step Seven -- Completion
Now you are ready for the final step, Completion.

Go to a special place to meditate. Still your mind and visualize the seven steps. See yourself on each step and as you do, go through a release process in your mind. End by saying this powerful prayer, "I am grateful for all the lessons and growth that has come in 2009 and I am ready to embrace 2010 with joy in my heart."

It is time to celebrate the New Year. Congratulations, you have changed your consciousness and I know 2010 will bring new possibilities in your life.

Move into the New Year with a Clean Slate

December 16, 2010

Are you ready to change your life? Whenever there is a shift in our consciousness, change takes place. We have been preparing ourselves for the last several weeks to move into the new year with grace and poise. On December 19th we are going to do the last two steps: Release and Surrender.

Action to take:

Journal your 2010 year using the Seven Steps for Releasing the Year and move into 2011 with a clean slate.

Guidance after Completing the Seven Step Process into the Year 2011:

January 8, 2011

By completing this process old emotional patterns have been released and this has created a reservoir for new energy to flow into your life. You will be presented with a vast array of options. Here are some changes you may experience:

  • Relationships with spouse, children, parents or friends could shift.
  • Change in job or career
  • Moving to a new home or city.
  • Lifestyle modifications in terms of new interests, hobbies, or social activities.
  • A combination of all of the above.

Action to take:

Take charge of your mind by not allowing it to race in all directions. Be the active observer of your emotional state, because you are going through a shift in your consciousness. Calm the mind, and ask for guidance. Listen for answers during your daily meditations, and watch for signals that reveal direction for this new consciousness that is being created for 2011.
